Update in Craig Scott investigation

Pacechester Police Department released the Police Report regarding last week’s reckless driving incident this afternoon. The report includes Scott’s breath test results of .200. That is .12 over the legal limit in the state of New York!

This leads us to believe that Craig Scott was definitely under the influence during his crash last week.

The Pacechester Coalition held a press conference this afternoon discussing what they would like do to keep incidents like this one from happening again. They would like to implement breathalyzers in cars. That way, in order to start their car, the driver will have to  blow into the breathalyzer.

If you are over the legal limit, your car simply will not start. Seems like the best way to keep  drunk drivers off the road.

PaceFeed also got exclusive quotes from the Mayor’s Office.  Mayor Andrade released a new statement to the public stating,”it is unclear to us why Mr. Scott was charged with reckless driving rather than with a DUI”.  She also stated that Craig Scott will be “suspended without pay until further notice”.

When asked to clarify whether in last week’s press conference they were referring to Mr. Scott’s physical injuries or if he was recovering from his alcoholism, the Mayor’s Team response was, “yes, we were referring to the shoulder injury. We are unaware of if he’s taking stances to get sober”.
